Sabine Beitzke was raised in the rural hill lands close to Cologne, Germany, until she was old enough to explore the world. After studies in sustainable design and filmmaking, she studied Illustration at Falmouth University in Cornwall with great enthusiasm. There, she discovered her passion for narrative illustration and picture books. She is currently living in Bavaria and London, amongst beautiful woodlands and mountains or surrounded by the magical buzz of a city jungle.
Her work is highly narrative with a love for detail and inspired by the beauty of nature. Sabine is working with coloured pencils and pastels.
